A Word About CD ROM Audio
CD ROM is not just an excellent storage medium for computer data.
It can also include CD Audio, or "Redbook" audio as it is called.
Within any given issue of NautilusCD Magazine, you may have the
opportunity to sample Redbook audio, but in order to hear it...
1 Your CD ROM drive must be equipped with audio output jacks and
2 You must connect these jacks to an audio receiver, amplifier/
speaker setup, or powered external speaker.
You can also play the Redbook audio portions of any NautilusCD
disc in any audio CD player provided you understand and comply
with the following warning:
TRACK 1 OF EACH NAUTILUSCD DISC CONTAINS COMPUTER DATA THAT,
IF PLAYED OVER A CD AUDIO SYSTEM, COULD DAMAGE YOUR SPEAKERS
AND/OR HEARING DUE TO THE LOUD (and obnoxious) "REALIZATION"
THAT OCCURS WHEN A CD AUDIO PLAYER REPRODUCES DIGITAL DATA.
ONLY TRACK(S) 2 (AND LATER) WILL CONTAIN ANY REDBOOK AUDIO
INCLUDED ON THE DISC TO BE PLAYED THE SAME AS ANY AUDIO CD.
